Grass cutting and garden tidying 2026

With the faithful six teams I think we can do a cut/tidy every week, to keep everything looking really neat and tidy. 

The combination lock code on the shed is 8008.  There are two planks to aid getting the lawnmower out without any lifting.  Place the planks as far apart as possible in the doorway, this allows you to walk in between the planks as you pull out the mower.  There are some gardening tools in the shed.

For safety reasons please wear strong shoes for mowing.

If you do need to get more petrol, get E5 (more expensive) from the BP pumps then please put the additive in the petrol can  …  take off  the gauge lid and squeeze to fill the measure.  One measure for each litre.

The rota dates are for the Mondays.  Your turn is any day that week, but later in the week is best as then it is tidy ready for the weekend.  Please arrange a swap if the week is inconvenient.  Last year there were times when the grass did not grow at all … could be your lucky week, but any other tidying is appreciated (dead heading, weeding , pruning).  Angela has requested we keep the ‘Beryl bench’ clean for use.
